Picnic sites
Take a break in nature with family or friends and enjoy a picnic in one of the many sites in the Choletais region.
Most of them are located by the waterside – close to a river, a lake or a pond.
Here’s a list of picnic areas in the Choletais area, with all the practical information you’ll need to choose your ideal spot. It will tell you whether it’s shady, if there are accessible toilets or a free-to-use barbecue, the number of tables available, if there’s a sheltered area (in case the weather closes in), a children’s play area or a fishing spot nearly. For the best picnic food, choose local produce ;)
