The famous Cholet Pays de Loire cycling race is an unmissable event in the region's sporting calendar.
Every spring, locals go cycling-mad for a whole week as the race comes around.
This high-level competition is one of the races in the Coupe de France (French Road Cycling Cup) for both men and women.
Alongside the race, a ride for non-competitors is organised the day before the competition, allowing amateurs to pedal in the wheeltracks of the champions.
