The museum contains two fascinating galleries, one devoted to the Vendée Wars and the other tracing the evolution of art from the 16th the 20th centuries - from figurative to abstract. The ground-breaking interactive 1960s labyrinth installation by GRAV (Visual Arts Research Group) - unique in France - is a definite must-see!
