Aptly housed in a former cloth bleaching factory, Cholet's Textile and Fashion Museum gives you a fascinating insight into the region's  industrial past. Stroll around the garden displaying plants used for fibre and dye, trace the evolution of textile manufacturing through a variety of old machinery, watch some of the looms in action - and find out why the red Cholet hanky is so famous!  
You can even take some authentic high-quality hankies home with you as they're on sale at the Tourist Office shop.
They come in all sorts of varieties - there's even an edible one!
