Festivals, concerts, Carnival, shows, sporting events, car boot sales, exhibitions, guided tours... All throughout the year, there's lots going on in Cholet!
If you're looking for fun things to do, here are some of the main highlights:
Calling all music-lovers! This is just the thing for you. Every January, there's a whole weekend devoted to classical music. With the strains of symphonies filling the air, music fans can enjoy some exceptional concerts that are accessible to everyone.
Our Carnival is fantastic fun, a real highlight of the year. People flock from all over the region to revel in the sights and sounds of the two parades - one daytime and one at night - with gigantic floats, musicians and dancers, a fireworks display, fairground rides, a cycling race, and loads more jollity. More than just an event, it's a much-loved local tradition!
Festival les Z'Allumés
Thrills and spills for young people at this festival in the town centre, with inflatable games, bubble football, flyjumping, skateboarding and other challenges and - for the bravest - even bungee jumping. Les Z'Allumés brings a whole weekend of mind-blowing and novel activities for youngsters (mostly for over 11s) that'll leave them with some amazing memories! Cholet's town centre is transformed into an open air acrobatics playground.
Salon des Arts
This pop-up gallery brings the town a dash of artistic refreshment. For one week every year, the Salon des Arts showcases the work of regional artists in an engaging temporary exhibition.
As the days draw in and yuletide approaches, the excitement and magic of Christmas can be felt in the air!
With convivial events and activities for all ages, everyone is guaranteed to enjoy the festive break!
